Bookstore Buyback Policy
Our policy is to buy every book we possibly can, offering you as much as we can. We hope the following information will explain how the buyback procedure works.
- Book buyback takes place during finals week of fall and spring semester.
- Books that have been ordered by instructors for the next semester and are needed for store stock will be purchased at 50% of selling price.
- The titles and quantity of books needed for any given class varies each semester. Books not needed by the bookstore can be sold back to an out-of-state used book company through the bookstore. They offer a wholesale price based on national demand for the book.
- Damaged books, books in poor condition - including missing or loose pages, broken bindings, water damaged, excessive writing or highlighting - will not be accepted for buyback.
- Some books may not qualify for buyback due to new editions, textbook changes or expendable nature of book.
